I LIVE!

4 min read

2017 was a new hell. That much is for certain.

I was homeless for a bit at the beginning of the year (which led to me learning how to make money from a variety of phone apps - as well as sold a ton of my stuff online to survive/was "living" out of a storage unit), had my cat basically taken from me, got my first car... got my first apartment! ...Had my first car accident in which my brakes messed up on the way to work and said car got completely totaled -- then in that same week I lost my health insurance, and my workplace was set on fire. Went without medicine for 2 weeks, had a coworker try to manipulate me into being her "husbando" and living with her... Once I was back on my meds, I quickly started noticing that and gtfo. Did a lot of walking over the summer since I didn't have a car, then I got a new car! Then my favorite coworker passed away a week after my birthday, then I started attending therapy again, and started working on Art stuff again, and then me and a "new" friend started dating (which is still hilarious to me because we met in a cafe when I was homeless because I heard the "Lost Woods" music from Ocarina of Time and started looking around to see where it was coming from... It was their first Zelda game - playing on 3DS -, and they were lost... I showed them where to go, and we basically became instant friends after that haha! The first time I got to play BotW was at their house while I was still homeless, and the first thing we got with the amiibos were 8bit Link's "booty shorts".)

I started 2018 at my partner's house, playing BotW, and pulling the Master Sword.
2018 has been mostly ok so far. I got a horrible Sinus Infection a few days into the year, and was coughing up blood that drained from my nose into my lungs. I also lost my voice for a couple days. I'm glad that's f'ing over. I also managed to sell off a lot more of my stuff at a convention recently. There's something refreshing about having less stuff. I'm so used to hoarding things because I never know when I might need something. My partner and I also volunteered as staff for a convention, and did such a great job that now we both are added as future "official" staff for that con circuit (which is about 5 different cons each year).

Though on another note, I've begun starting up my own art business with money I made from selling my belongings. I'm also in the works of properly starting a web comic series. Horns

One thing I've learned over the last year:

Sometimes you gotta tell people to fuck off, and take a stand for yourself, in order to give yourself the chance to find yourself. Even when you think you are at your absolute lowest, you can still find a will to keep going; even if that will is initially born from wanting to prove assholes wrong.
So to everyone who thought, or thinks, I'm nothing without them: WINNER!
"Flip a bird; pigeon, plane, it's a word, it's a shame
But God I'm good, swear I couldn’t be better
Kicking dirt on the shirts of the lames"

Hit me up if you want talk. I basically disappeared from most of the internet for about a year Wink/Razz

So, I'm debating coming back to Deviantart.

No longer here

I've deleted the artwork I don't want shown here anymore, and I'm not fully deleting my account because artwork and cosplays of mine have been shared on other sites, so I want to keep the link open for anyone who comes across them, but I am no longer going to be using dA. I'm moving on from fandoms and I want to focus on personal and original stuff. Idk where this will take me, but yeah.

Goodbye.
